About this cartoon: As the nation hit 500,000 deaths from COVID-19, medical experts noted that, had the U.S. had a reasonable, humane, science-based "normal" response to the pandemic rather than Donald Trump's petty, political, anti-science incompetence, at least 200,000 of those deaths could have likely been prevented. Maybe Trump didn't start an actual war during office, but his policies led to more American deaths than from most of the wars the nation has ever fought.
